Jacqueline has a love and respect for jazz and for the originators of the music.
At the heart of her performances is an artistic vision that has the intimacy of 'home' in an atmosphere of swinging fun true to the art of vocal jazz. Based on British Columbia's Sunshine Coast, Jacqueline is from the North Shore of Vancouver. After graduating from the University of British Columbia, Jacqueline studied at the University of Massachusetts', 'Jazz in July', with acclaimed, 'Jazz Master', Sheila Jordan and with Jay Clayton. |

Jacqueline has worked with vocalists, Karin Plato, Bonnie Ferguson, and
the 'Swing Sisters': Patti Allan, Ellen Kennedy, and Bev Sauve. She has
performed as a member of many jazz ensembles including the 'Hot Potatoes',
'We Three', and the 12 voice, 'Mellow Tones', under extraordinary vocal
coach, Nikki Weber. | |
Jacqueline has performed with musicians, Ron Thompson, Miles Black, Jodi Proznick, Ken Dalgleish, Brent Gubbels. Michael Creber, Tom Arntzen, Scott Robertson, Walter Martella, Barry Taylor, Jim McGillvray, Joe Stanton, nationally acclaimed poet, Peter Trower, and with 'King of the Ukulele', Ralph Shaw. Jacqueline produced 'Waltz for a Rainy Bebop Evening' - an event dedicated to the music of the bebop era and several times she produced and performed in her seasonal show, 'Tea and Merriment', presenting songs and readings of the season. Jacqueline has appeared at Cory Weeds' Cellar Jazz Club producing 'A Swingin' Yuletide at the Cellar'. She has appeared at the Gibsons Jazz Festival, the Silk Purse Arts Centre, and with the Monique Creber production, 'The Magic of Christmas' and in many benefit events.
